About my Practice
Since the day I went into practice I had the vision that women would receive state-of-the-art medical care in an unrushed, comfortable atmosphere. My goal was not only to practice good medicine, but also to educate women so they themselves could participate in the decisions that would affect them.
To that end, I am part of Northwestern Medicine in a number of different roles. First, in my solo practice, I see patients for complex gynecologic problems, consultations, and second opinions. There is also an option for routine gynecologic care. As we all know, delivery of health care has changed, and it has become increasingly difficult for physicians to spend the time I believe is required to educate, evaluate and treat complex problems. Therefore, I am limiting the number of patients in my practice so I will be able to spend double the time and also coordinate additional services required for the evaluation and treatment of complex gynecologic issues.
In addition to my private practice, I am the Medical Director of the Northwestern Medicine Center for Sexual Medicine and Menopause. The center offers three programs: the Program for Menopause, the Program for Sexual Medicine and the Northwestern Medicine Comprehensive Program for Vulvar and Vaginal Health. The Program for Menopause's team of certified menopause practitioners of The North American Menopause Society helps peri- and postmenopause women navigate both hormonal and non-hormonal options to alleviate symptoms or consequences of menopause. The Program for Sexual Medicine provides comprehensive care for women of all ages with sexual health problems, including issues such as painful intercourse, loss of libido or difficulty with orgasm. The Northwestern Medicine Comprehensive Program for Vulvar and Vaginal Health brings together the expertise of multiple specialists to treat vulvodynia, infections, and dermatologic conditions that affect the vulva (external genitalia) and the vagina.

Thank you for the confidence and trust that you have placed in me.
